Attention! Allow the appliance to cool completely in an upright position
before packing or storing. Never wrap the power cord around the appli-
ance after use, as this may cause the cord to break over time. Always
smooth the power cord during storage.
BEFORE USE
Remove the appliance and all accessories from the package. Delete the
protection packaging from the solepate and advertising stickers. Do not
leave the packing (plastic bags, polystyrene etc.) within the reach of
children since they could be dangerous. Gently wipe down exterior and
soleplate with a damp cloth and dry well with dry towel.
After the appliance transportation or storage at low temperature, keep
it for at least three hours at room temperature before switching it on.

Note: During the mass production the oil was used to cover some inside
parts of the iron. When using the iron for the first time, you may notice a
slight emission of smoke and hear some sounds made by the expanding
plastics. This is quite normal and it stops after a short time.
NOTE There may be a small amount of water in the water tank of
the new iron. This means that your iron has been further inspect-
ed by the manufacturer.

PREPARATIONS
Sort the laundry to be ironed according to the international symbols on
the garment label, or if this is missing, according to the type of fabric.
Start ironing the garments requiring a low temperature.
This reduces the waiting times (the iron takes less time to heat up
than to cool down) and eliminates the risk of scorching the fabric.
