Kitchen hood
3. GENERAL
INSTRUCTIONS
 The kitchen hood (hereinafter
referred to as “hood”) is designed to
remove or clean the air rising from the
hob in domestic kitchens.
 Install the hood at the height
shown in g. 1.
 In order to ensure the highest
possible air output with the lowest pos-
sible noise levels when operating in
exhaust” mode, we recommend that the
air ducts be the shortest possible length
and have the fewest possible bends.
 Reducing the air duct diameter is
not permissible. Failure to comply with
these requirements may increase noise
and vibration when the hood is in op-
eration.
 When operating in exhaust”
mode, ensure that there is a sufcient
supply of fresh air into the room.
 If the air duct is routed outdoors
(through a hole in the wall), the duct
must have a slope as in g. 1A.
