10. MAINTENANCE WORK
 Safety requirements (see section
6) must be strictly observed when carry-
ing out maintenance work.
Clean dirty surfaces with a soft
cloth dampened with water and a neu-
tral washing-up liquid.
To clean stainless steel surfaces, do
not use products containing sand, soda,
acids, chlorides or sponges which could
scratch these surfaces.
Cleaning stainless steel kitchen
hoods requires the use of special prod-
ucts.
Metal grease lters
The lters can be cleaned in the
dishwasher. They should be cleaned
when the S1 indicator light comes on
and at least once every 2 months of op-
eration, or even more frequently if the
hood is used more intensively.
FILTER CLEANING
 Open the aps.
Remove the lter by pressing it
against the back of the hood and push-
ing it down at the same time. Before t-
ting the lter, wash and dry it. Be careful
not to bend it. (Any discolouration that
may occur over time will in no way af-
fect the efciency of the lter).
Put the lter back in place so that
the handle remains on the visible out-
side.
 Close the aps.
