2.6 Energy saving tips
Install the appliance in the cold-
est part of the room, away from heat
generating appliances and hot air ducts,
out of direct sunlight.
Do not put hot food inside the
refrigerator, be sure to wait for it to cool
down to room temperature. Overload-
ing the appliance leads to an increase
in the duration of the compressor.
Freezing foods too slowly can result in
poor quality and even spoilage.
 Before placing food inside the
refrigerator, wrap it carefully, for ex-
ample with plastic wrap, and wipe the
containers dry.
This will reduce the freezing of ice
on the walls of the device.
 Do not cover the appliance
shelves with aluminum foil, wax paper
or paper towels.
This may prevent the circulation of
cold air and reduce the efciency of the
appliance.
 Organize and label products to
reduce door openings and reduce time
spent searching for the products you
need. Try to extract as many of the prod-
ucts you need at the moment as pos-
sible at a time and close the door as
quickly as possible.
