the wheel is in the '1' position as shown in Figure E to achieve maximum
speed. The lower speed is obtained when turned anticlockwise with the
knob set to "position 2" as shown in figure E in order to reach the minimum
speed. Refer to the speed-mode-type relationship table.

NOTE: Standard applications are shown in the table. They may differ
under certain conditions.
NOTE: The speed control knob can only be turned to the position shown
in the illustration. Do not forcibly exceed the position as the speed
adjustment function may stop working.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Always make sure the tool is turned off and the battery is removed
before adjusting or checking tool functions.
CAUTION: To prevent injury, never use the Bench Grinder unless
supports and eye guards are properly installed and in place.
WORKSTAND ASSEMBLY
NOTE: Before tightening the bolts, adjust the gap between the grinding
wheel and the working support to a maximum of 1.6 mm.
To install the left or right work support on the tool, align the groove on the
tool body with the groove on the work support, insert and hold the
hexagonal bolt through the two grooves, then secure it with the adjustable
knob fig F1 and F2.
To remove the work support, unscrew the adjustable knob 1 Fig F2 and
then remove it. To adjust the position of the support leg, loosen the right
or left adjustment knob slightly, then adjust the right or left support to the
desired working position, and tighten the adjustment knob tightly again.
EYE SHIELD ASSEMBLY
NOTE: After installing or adjusting the position of the protective cover,
make sure the adjustable knob is securely attached.
To install the visor to the tool, put the visor directly on the screw, and then
secure it with the fixing knob as in picture H1 . To remove the cover,
perform the above steps in reverse order.
To adjust the position of the visor, slightly loosen the right or left adjustment
knob Fig I1 . Then adjust the right or left eye shield to the desired working
position Fig I2 , then tighten the adjustment knob firmly again.
INSTALLING OR REPLACING THE WHEEL
NOTE: Make sure the direction of the outer flange is correct. That is, make
sure that the protruding part of the outer flange is always facing up. Fitting
the outer flange on the wrong side can cause dangerous vibration.
NOTE: Use only the grinding wheels specified in this manual. The use of
any other abrasive wheel may present a risk of personal injury or damage
to the tool
NOTE: The factory-installed grinding wheel on the left side is fine-grained,
while that installed on the right-hand side is coarse-grained.
To disassemble or replace a grinding wheel on the right or left side of the
tool, proceed as follows:
Pull to directly remove the cover of the right or left grinding wheel
spindle Fig. L1 and Fig . L2 .
Use a screwdriver to unscrew fig J1 and remove the three self-
tapping screws by turning them counterclockwise, then remove the
side cover from the grinder.
Press the grinding wheel spindle lock button Fig. K1 while using the
hexagonal wrench to loosen and remove the hex nut by turning it
clockwise. For the right grinding wheel, turn the nut clockwise to
loosen the nut.
Take off one by one scratch K2 nut 7 , outer flange 8 , abrasive
wheel 9 , plastic bearing 10 . Replace the fine grinding wheel with a
new one, if necessary. The order of assembly of individual elements
as shown in Fig K2 must be absolutely followed .
To install the grinding wheel on the tool, reverse the uninstall
procedure.
USING THE TOOL AS A MINI GRINDER
To use the tool as a mini grinder, follow these steps:
Pull the cover 2 fig L1 to remove the cover from the right spindle.
Press the spindle lock button and fasten the flexible shaft 5 fig M1 to
the tool by turning the flexible shaft joint clockwise while threading it
onto the spindle shaft thread as far as it will go.
Insert the wrench into the hole 6 in the flexible shaft head 7 and hold
to lock the flexible shaft spindle shaft, then loosen the collet 8 nut by
turning it counterclockwise fig M2 .
Insert the tip of the working tool into the sleeve nut hole, and then
tighten the sleeve nut by turning it clockwise fig M3 .
USING THE SPINDLE SHAFT CONNECTION FOR SIDE BRUSHING
To use the side brushing feature, do the following:
Attach the bristle brush 2 fig N1 to the spindle shaft connector 1 fig
N1 by turning the spindle shaft connector clockwise as far as it will
go.
Press down the spindle lock button and fasten the joint to the grinder
spindle by turning the spindle shaft joint clockwise as far as it will
go, fig N3 .
Unscrew the bristle brush and then you can replace it with an
abrasive brush or a woolen brush by attaching them directly to the
spindle shaft joint fig O1 to fig O4 .
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
Standard grinding with a bench grinder
NOTE: Do not let knowledge of the tools cause you to be
careless. Remember that a careless split second is enough to deal serious
damage.
NOTE: Always wear safety glasses or safety glasses with side shields
when working with a power tool or blowing dust out. If work is dusty, wear
a dust mask.
CAUTION: Never sharpen or grind objects made of aluminum.
NOTE: Excessive pressure on a cold wheel can break the wheel.
NOTE: Do not use any attachments or accessories that are not
recommended by the manufacturer of this tool. The use of an attachment
or accessory that is not recommended can cause serious injury.
NOTE: Do not use wheels less than the speed of this tool. Failure to follow
this warning may result in personal injury.
Keep your tools sharp in order to work efficiently and function as
intended. Blunt tools can and will cause accidents. Bench grinders are
ideal for sharpening small tools such as chisels, planer knives, scissors
etc. and for removing rust or corrosion.
The correct way to sharpen the tool and avoid overheating is:
Hold the tool on the work stand firmly on the correct grinding wheel.
Keep the object being sanded in constant motion by moving it at a
steady pace.
Never press the tool too hard on the grinding wheel.
Keep the grinding wheel cool with a water container.
The grinding wheel should rotate "into" the sharpened object.
Always select the correct speed when working.
Grinding with a mini grinder
NOTICE: Excessive pressure can damage the tool, cause overheating of
the motor, and premature wear of the wheel.
NOTE: The 3.2mm collet is supplied as standard equipment and is used
to mount accessories with a 3.2mm chuck tip.
Turn on the tool without the grinding wheel blade contacting the workpiece
and wait for the grinding wheel to reach maximum speed. Then, gently
apply the workpiece to the grinding wheel. For a good finish, slowly move
the tool to the left in scratch P3 .
Side brush sanding
NOTE: Apply light pressure to the ground object. Excessive pressure on
the tool will only cause a poor finish and will overload the motor.
Use the side brush function to clean flat, smooth surfaces or grooves in
materials such as plastic or metal. Switch on the tool without the brush
contacting the workpiece and wait for the brush to reach maximum
speed. Then gently place the workpiece against the brush. For a good
finish, select the correct type of brush and move the workpiece around the
tool.
The steel bristle brush is dedicated to remove paint and rust from
cast iron or alloy products with a rough finish and with P4 grooves .
The abrasive brush is dedicated to cleaning almost all types of dirt
to restore the shine to cast iron or alloy products with a rough finish
on flat surfaces of P2 scratches .
The woolen brush is unmatched in restoring the shine to a product
made of stainless steel, brass, etc. by final polishing on smooth
surfaces of P1 scratches .
Emptying the dust container
To work more efficiently, empty the dust drawer when it is no more than
half full. When the container is half full, turn off the tool, pull the container
directly from the tool and empty it. Tap lightly on the container to remove
particles adhering to the inside that may hinder further collection. Always
empty and thoroughly clean the container after finishing work and before
placing the bench grinder in the storage area for scratches R1.
MAINTENANCE OF THE GRINDER
NOTE: Always make sure the tool is turned off and the battery is removed
before performing any inspection or maintenance.
CAUTION: Never use gasoline, thinner, alcohol or similar
substances. Discoloration, deformation or cracks can be the result.
Keep your bench grinder clean. Often remove dust from working parts and
