The following warnings appearing on the display denote the corresponding
malfunctions of the refrigerator. Notwithstanding that the refrigerator may still
retain the refrigerated storage function while the following error codes are
displayed, the user should contact a service technician for maintenance, in order
to ensure proper operation of the appliance.
7. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
When cleaning or maintaining the refrigerator, first turn off the power by
removing the plug from the socket. Empty the chambers of food. Use neutral
detergents. Never use abrasive detergents, alkaline products, organic acids and
hot water as this may damage the paintwork. Do not use sharp or metal objects
as this may damage the refrigerator.
The door seal gets dirty easily and needs to be washed more often.
If you do not use the refrigerator for a long time, remove the plug from the socket,
defrost, wash and dry the refrigerator.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE
In case of improper operation or a malfunction, please study the following section before contacting an authorized service center. In some cases you may be able to
solve the problem yourselves.
Problem Probable Causes
The appliance is not working
• Ensure that the power cable is properly connected to the electric socket.
• The ambient temperature is too low. Try to set a lower (colder) temperature.
• It is normal for the freezing chamber not to work during automatic defrosting or for a short time after refrigerator
startup to protect the compressor.
Unpleasant smell in the refrigerator Cleaning is probably required. Smells may come from foods, containers, packaging, etc.
Noise in the refrigerator
The following noises are normal:
• noise of the operating compressor;
• air circulation noise caused by the small fan in the freezing chamber or by other refrigerator components;
• bubbling noise similar to that of boiling water;
• crackling noises during automatic defrosting;
• clicking noise before compressor startup.
Motor operates continuously
The noise of the operating motor is normal in the following cases:
• the temperature is set too low;
• a large quantity of warm food has recently been placed in the refrigerator;
• ambient temperature too high;
• the door has been open for a long time or opened too often;
• first startup of the refrigerator or restart after a long break.
Layer of frost inside the refrigerator Ensure that the food does not impede air circulation. Check that the door is tightly closed.
Temperature in the refrigerator too
high
The door has probably been left often, or something is preventing the door from closing, the refrigerator is installed too
close to adjacent walls, electric appliances, etc.
Temperature in the refrigerator too
low
Set a higher temperature on the control panel.
The door is hard to close
Check the installation gradient of the refrigerator. The front edge of the refrigerator should be higher than the back edge
by max. 10 to 15mm to provide sufficient gravity for door closing.
Internal illumination not working
• LED lamp damaged. Replace the bulb.
• The light has been turned off by the control system since the door has been open for a long time. Close the door and
open it again to re-activate the function.
