NOTE

On the cutting device guard is the symbol (E, Fig. 10) which indicates the direction of

rotation of the cutting device.

5.2 NYLON TRIMMER HEAD ASSEMBLY (FIG. 9)

Insert the upper flange (F, Fig. 9). Insert the trimmer head retainer pin (H, Fig. 9) into the hole (L,

Fig. 9) and screw the trimmer head (N, Fig. 9) counterclockwise with hand force alone.

5.3 BLADE ASSEMBLY (FIG. 10)

1. Mount the blade (R, Fig. 10) on the upper flange (F, Fig. 10) ensuring the correct direction of

rotation.

2. Mount the lower flange (B, Fig. 10), cap (D, Fig. 10) and screw the bolt (A, Fig. 10)

counterclockwise.

3. Insert the supplied pin into the hole (L, Fig. 10) to secure the blade and tighten the bolt (A,

Fig. 10) to 25 Nm (2.5 kgm).

WARNING

The collar (see arrows C, Fig. 10) must be positioned in the blade assembly hole.

5.4 HANDLE ASSEMBLY (FIG. 3)

Mount the handle on the drive tube and secure it with the bolts (A, Fig. 3). The position of the

handle can be adjusted as needed by the operator.

WARNING

Mount the loop handle (D, Fig. 3) between the label arrows (B, Fig. 3) and rear

handle (C, Fig. 3).

5.5 HANDLEBAR ASSEMBLY (FIG. 7)

1. Loosen the screws (D, Fig. 7) of the clamp.

2. Insert the 2 half-grips into their respective housings (E, Fig. 7).

3. Retighten screws (D, Fig. 7).

5.6 CONTROL HANDLE ASSEMBLY (FIG. 6)

1. Loosen the screw (G, Fig. 6). The nut (H, Fig. 6) remains in the control handle (L, Fig. 6).

2. Push the control handle (L, Fig. 6) – the throttle (M, Fig. 6) must be facing the bevel gear —

onto the handlebars (N, Fig. 6) so that the holes (P, Fig. 6) are aligned.

3. Insert the screw (G, Fig. 6) and tighten firmly.
