5.7 HANDLEBAR ASSEMBLY (FIG. 8)

1. Position the handlebar (A, Fig. 8) in the lower clamp (B1, Fig. 8).

2. Position the upper clamp (B2, Fig. 8) and loosely tighten the 4 screws (D, Fig. 8).

3. Align the handlebar at a right angle to the drive tube.

4. Tighten the screws (D, Fig. 8) firmly.

WARNING

Ensure that all machine components are securely connected and the screws

tightened.

NOTE

Scrupulously comply with local regulations for the disposal of packaging

6 SAFETY DEVICES AND CONTROLS

6.1 SAFETY DEVICES

The machine is supplied with the following safety devices:

6.1.1 Stop button

When pressed, the switch (16, Fig. 2) stops the engine.

6.1.2 Throttle stop lever

The throttle stop lever (15, Fig. 2) prevents unintentionally operating the throttle lever (17,

Fig. 2).

6.1.3 Safety guard

The guard (5, Fig. 2) protects the operator from ejected objects.

6.2 CONTROLS

The machine is equipped with the following controls:

6.2.1 Throttle trigger

Allows adjusting the speed of the cutting device.

Operating the throttle lever (17, Fig. 2) is only possible if the throttle stop lever (15, Fig. 2) is

pressed at the same time.

The correct working speed is achieved with the throttle lever (17, Fig. 2) at full stroke.

6.2.2 Half-throttle button

This is used to start the engine when cold (21, Fig. 2).
