Please note that the following maintenance frequencies only apply
to normal operating conditions. If your daily work is more
demanding than normal, the frequency of maintenance must be
increased accordingly.

11 TRANSPORT
• Stop the engine and wait for it to cool down.
• Mount the blade cover (A, Fig. 4).
• Grip the machine by the handlebar only and orient the cutting device in the direction
opposite to the direction of travel (Fig. 4).
WARNING
When transporting or storing the machine, mount the blade guard, code 4196086 as
shown in A, Fig. 4.
WARNING
When transporting the machine on a vehicle, ensure that it is firmly and securely
fastened using straps or belts. The machine must be transported in the horizontal
position with an empty tank, also ensuring compliance with applicable transport
regulations for such machines.
12 STORAGE
If the machine is to be stored for long periods:
• Drain and clean the fuel and oil tanks in a well-ventilated area.
CAUTION
To drain the carburetor, start the engine and wait for it to stop (leaving the
mixture in the carburetor could damage the membranes).
• Dispose of fuel and oil in accordance with the rules and respecting the environment.
• Follow all the maintenance operations described in this manual.
