OPERATION

FITTING AND REMOVING THEBATTERY PACK

To remove the battery: Press release button (2) in the indicated direction (A) and pull the

battery out of the machine body. (B)

To insert the battery: Place the battery into the base of the machine and slide it until it locks

with an audible click. (C)

BATTERY STATE INDICATION

The battery state during operation can be checked on the LED display (5) by pressing the

Battery state check button (4).

Depending on the number of illuminated LEDs the batterystate is as follows:

4 LEDs are burning - the level of charge is 100%.

2-3 LEDs are burning - the level of charge is 40-70%.

1 LED is on - charge level is 25-30%.

SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING OFF

• Switching on: Push the back end of the ON/OFF switch 1 down and then forward in the

direction of the arrow until its front end will sag, thus xing itself.

• Switching o: Press the back, lifted end of switch 1 and release it to return in its initial

position.

MOUNTING THE WHEEL GUARD

INSTALLING GUARD: Place the blade guard with the coding pin in the coding groove. Turn

the blade guard to the required position (working position). The closed side of the blade

guard must always be toward the operator. Tighten the fastening screw

REMOVING GUARD: Loosen the xing screw, rotate the cover and remove from the front

cover.

Fitting/changing the roughing/cutting disc (Fig. 4)

Always wear protective gloves when changing cutting/rough grinding discs.

Pay attention to the dimensions of the roughing/cutting disc. The diameter of the hole

must t themounting ange without any play. Do not usea reducer or adapter.

• Use only discs which are free of dirt.
