 Before any work on the machine

(e. g., maintenance, tool change,

etc.) as well as during transport

and storage, set the rotational di-

rection switch to the centre posi-

tion. Unintentional actuation of the

On/Off switch can lead to injuries.

Battery Charging (see figure C)

Note: The battery supplied is partially

charged. To ensure full capacity of the

battery, completely charge the battery

in the battery charger before using your

power tool for the first time.

The lithium-ion battery can be charged

at any time without reducing its service

life. Interrupting the charging proce-

dure does not damage the battery.

The lithium-ion battery is protected

against deep discharging by the “Elec-

tronic Cell Protection (ECP)”. When the

battery is empty, the machine is

switched off by means of a protective

circuit: The inserted tool no longer ro-

tates.

 Once the power tool has automati-

cally shut off, do not continue to

press on the spindle, as this can

damage the battery.

Open the cover 7.

Use a USB cable 9 to connect the power

tool to the charger 10.

The battery charge-control indicator 4

indicates the charging progress. During

the charging procedure, the indicator

flashes green. The battery is fully

charged when the indicator lights up

green continuously.
