To recharge battery:

• Connect the Charger CRG / Charger FAST battery charger (C) to a power outlet; the

presence of voltage is indicated by the red warning light (D) switching on.

• Insert the battery (A) into its housing in the battery charger (C), pushing all the way.

Recharging a completely flat battery requires approx. 88 minutes (2 Ah) and minutes (5 Ah).

With the FAST battery charger, charging is reduced to 40 minutes (2 Ah) and 70 minutes (5

Ah).

The charging stages are indicated by the warning light (D)

• connected battery charger = red warning light on.

• battery inserted and recharging in progress = green warning light flashing.

• battery recharging completed = green warning light on.

• short circuit = red warning light flashing quickly

• overheating = red warning light flashing slowly

Recharging complete:

• remove the battery (A) from the battery charger (C) and refit it on the machine;

• disconnect the battery charger (C) from the power outlet.

WARNING

the machine is equipped with a safety circuit to prevent unauthorized use! Before

starting the machine you must insert the safety key (9, Fig. 2) and remove it

whenever you suspend or finish mowing.

• Start the machine in an area free of clutter, without tall grass. Inspect the area to be cut and

clear away rocks, bones, pieces of wood and the like.

• Read the safety rules listed in this manual.

• Before you start the engine, make sure the blade is not blocked.

• Start the engine as described in the instructions for use, with your feet safely away from the

blade.

Starting the engine (Fig. 12)

Before starting the lawnmower, insert the safety key (A) into its socket (B), then press button (C)

and pull lever (D).

WARNING

In the case of overheating the battery will be disconnected automatically by the

protection circuit for safety reasons. Remove the battery from the machine and

allow it to cool. Once the battery has cooled it can be put back into the machine and

work can be resumed.
