IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

 Please read this instruction manual carefully before connecting your hair crimper to the power supply, in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use. Please pay particular attention to

the safety information.

 Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home.

 Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to malfunctions of the appliance and injuries to the user.

 Home use only. Do not use for industrial purposes.

 Always unplug the hair crimper from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning.

 Do not take this product into a bathroom or use near a water basin.

 Close supervision is necessary when it is used near children.

 Do not leave the appliance switched on when you do not use it.

 Never carry or suspend the appliance by the cord.

 Cool the appliance before storing.

 Do not operate after malfunction or damage of cord.

 Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance. Repair the malfunctioning appliance in the nearest service center.

 Do not place the heated appliance directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in. Use the built-in safety wire stand.

 This appliance is hot when in use. Do not allow heated surface to touch bare skin.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

 For a complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from hair spray, creams, etc.

 This hair crimper has On / Off switch with 2 heat setting:

- II – Hi (High)

- 0 – Off

- I – Lo (Low)

PRE-HEAT

 Rest the hair crimper on its safety stand (4) on a smooth, flat surface and plug in.

 Set the heat switch at Hi or Low position (7), and allow the hair crimper to heat.

 Use Hi heat for normal, easy-to-curl hair and for hard-to-curl hair, simply holding hair wound around barrel a bit longer for hair that resists curling.

 Use Low heat for hair that has been color-treated, or is fragile or damaged.

STYLING

 Open the curling tongue (2) and place the ends of the strand 3-5 cm wide on the tongue and damp tight by closing the curling tongue.

 Rotate the appliance so that the strand of the hair is rolled up to the roots. Please maintain sufficient distance between scalp and curling tongue.

 Hold the appliance in this position for approximate 15-20 seconds for tight curls or if hair is hard to curl. Hold for less time if hair is easy to curl, or if you want loose curls or waves.

 When ready to release curl, unwind about half a turn (for longer hair, unwind a bit more) and push down on the clamp release lever to open the clamp.
