(e) Install the Carrier [14]

Assemble so that recess (A) on the Lock Ring [12] is aligned with projection (B) on the Carrier [14]. (Be

careful of the direction.) Then make sure that the flat plane of the spindle faces the flat plane of the Carrier

[14]. If assembled in wrong direction, the flat plane of the spindle may be stopped at the position about

2 mm lower than the flat plane of the Carrier [14]. (See Figs. 9 and 10.)

(NOTE) When reassembling the Carrier [14] to the Lock Ring [12], never apply the grease between the

plate of the Lock Ring [12] and the Carrier [14]. Otherwise, the spindle lock may not work properly.
