Merge 2 x 2 is designed to consume almost no power.

However, very rarely you may encounter some older

MIDI device that requires more power than 2 x 2 can

deliver. This can only happen if the instrument draws

more power than allowed in the MIDI specification. If you

encounter this situation, there is a standard 9-volt, cen-

ter pin positive, power jack on the side of Merge 2 x 2.

You can go to your local electronics store and buy a uni-

versal power adapter or call MIDIMAN to purchase one

directly.
