2. Software Configuration
In this chapter, we explain how to operate a V2406/2422/2426-LX computer directly from your desktop. There
are three ways to connect to the V2406/2422/2426-LX computer: through a VGA monitor, via Telnet over the
network, or with an SSH console from a Windows or Linux machine. This chapter describes basic Linux
operating system configurations. Advanced network management and configuration instructions will be
described in the next chapter, “Managing Communications.”
