Installing SATA Storage Device in the
Removable Trays
The V2416 computers come with 2 removable slots for inserting additional storage media, such as hard disks
or SSD drives, and support hot swapping for convenient, fast, and easy storage expansion. See the following
section for instructions on inserting the storage devices in the removable trays.
1. There are two removable trays on the front panel of the V2416. A protection lock is also provided for storage
security.
2. Rotate the key counterclockwise to unlock the protection lock, and then pull out the tray by grasping the
screws on each side. Place the hard disk into the tray, and then turn the tray clockwise. Fasten the hard disk
with four screws on the back of the tray.
ATTENTION
To successfully fit the disk into the slot, use the plain
-cup screws to fasten the hard disk to the tray. Do not
use
the round
-cup screws, since they may prevent you from being able to insert the tray into the slot.
