Hard Disk Boot Priority
First/Second/Third Boot Device
This option allows users to select or change the device boot priority. You may set 3 levels of priority to
determine the boot up sequence for different bootable devices, such as a hard drive, CD-ROM, and removable
devices. Select the order in which devices will be searched in order to find a boot device. The available options
are “CDROM (default for first boot device),” “Removable” (default for third boot device), “Hard Disk” (default
for second boot device) and “Disabled.”
Boot Override
This item allows users to select the boot source as the first priority when the system is booting up. When the
BIOS has detected the device you selected, the device will be the first priority in the Hard Disk group.
Options: None (Default), CF card, USB Disk
Advanced BIOS Features
When you select the “Advanced BIOS Features” option under the “Advanced” menu, the following configuration
menu will appear.
CPU Features
C1E Function
This item allows you to configure the power-saving mode when the CPU is in C1 status.
Options: Auto (default), Disabled
EIST Function
This item allows you to configure the power saving mode with the Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology. This
helps the system reduce the workload frequency and power consumption.
Options: Disabled (default), Enabled
Note: Currently, W7E models do not support the EIST function, since enabling EIST will make the power profile
conflict with the EIST settings, idle the CPU performance, and the system may not be started.
