IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION
• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• Ensure that the voltage on the rating plate is the same as in your home.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture,
pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 0.9 M from the front of the
heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids
and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
To disconnect heater, turn control to OFF, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
• Do not use the unit in enclosed spaces such as inside cabinets or walls in order to
defrost pipes or prevent pipes from freezing.
• Do not plug heater into loose fitting or worn out electrical outlets.
• Do not wash with water, or touch with wet hands.
• Do not cover with clothing or place alongside inflammable objects such as cushions,
newspapers or curtains...etc.
• The sides are hot during operation; do not touch the heater while it is running.
• Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on
the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunc
tions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized
service facility for examination, electrical mechanical adjustment, or repair to avoid
a hazard.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor loca
tions. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. If
the heater does become wet, unplug it from the wall receptacle before touching it, as
a wet heater may create an electrical shock hazard even if the heater is turned off.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or the
like. Arrange cord away from trafficked area and where it will not be tripped over or
stepped on.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this
may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use
on soft surfaces, like a bed, carpets, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gaso
line, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Do not use this heater as an integral part of any life support or equipment protection

- Care and cleaning always turn the unit off unplug disconnect the cord from the outlet and allow the heater to cool completely before cleaning to clean the exterior use a soft dry cloth or one moistened with a mild detergent to wipe the outside surfaces do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners dry surfaces thor oughly before using the heater or use a vacuum with a dusting brush attachment to clean away dust caution do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the heater as this could create an electric shock hazard store the heater in a dry area gather the power cord in loops and secure it with a twist tie don t let the power cord come in contact with sharp edges or get compressed by heavy objects portable electric heaters are designed for space heating as a supple mentary heat source they are not intended be the main source of heat 5
