- How to use conventional boiling mode plug the kettle into a suitable power outlet ensure the on off switch is in the off position o in addition check that the power on blue led indicator light visible through the water window is not illuminated and the red led status indicators are not flashing if the red led status indicators are flashing press the keep warm button to switch them off remove the kettle from the base open the lid by depressing both lid release buttons simultaneously and gripping the central rib lift the hinged lid backwards alternatively the kettle can be filled through the spout observe the maximum level indicators marked on the water window to prevent overfilling fill the kettle with no less than the minimum 0 l and no more than the maximum amount 1 l of water ensure the kettle is not overfilled by checking the water level with the kettle placed on a dry level surface check the lid is fully closed to ensure correct operation of the kettle place the kettle back on to t 4
- How to use keep warm mode the kettle has a keep warm function which when activated will maintain the water tempe rature at approximately 77 c after boiling the keep warm function can be switched on either before or after the on off switch or dur ing boiling operate the kettle as per the instructions contained in the how to use conventional boil ing mode but after filling the kettle and replacing it on to the power base press the keep warm button the red led status indicators around the bottom of the kettle will begin to flash to indicate the keep warm function is in operation and act as a reminder to turn the function off when not in use to switch the keep warm function off press the keep warm button the function will switch off and the red led status indicators will no longer flash 4
