NOTE: Never allow the kettle to boil dry or water to drop below the minimum mark. With the kettle
filled to the maximum level (1.7L) the kettle can be left with the Keep Warm function on for up to 12
hours.
The Keep Warm facility will not boil the water. The function is intended to maintain the water at a
predetermined temperature after the boil cycle.
IF THE KETTLE DOES BOIL DRY!
If the kettle is operated in accordance with the instructions for use it is unlikely the kettle will boil
dry. However in the event the kettle does boil dry, it is protected by a boil dry failsafe device which
will switch the kettle off automatically on sensing a boil dry situation, and keep it switched off until
the kettle is refilled with at least the minimum amount of water and also need to lift up the kettle and
place back on to the power base. During the boil dry failsafe operation the blue and red lights will
come on to warn you that the kettle has boiled dry.
NOTE: Illumination of the blue and red lights occurs during normal use with water in the kettle and
does not indicate a problem.
CLEANING
Always unplug from the plug socket before cleaning.
Clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not use steel wool pads or abrasive
cleaners. Do not immerse the kettle or the base unit in water or liquid of any kind.
This kettle features a concealed heating element which means it never comes into contact with the
water inside the kettle. This hygienic design not only makes cleaning the inside of the kettle much
easier, it also keeps cleaning to a minimum.
The filter inside the kettle needs to be cleaned periodically, how often will vary according to where
you live and how often you use your kettle. You should clean it whenever there are any noticeable
deposits left on the filter and especially if the rate of pouring begins to reduce.
Although the kettle is designed for the element to remain scale free, in hard water areas scale may
still build up on the base. Descale regularly using a proprietary descaler.
CLEANING THE FILTER
Removing/Refitting the Filter:
Important: Before removing or refitting the filter, switch the kettle off, let it cool down fully, and
unplug the power base.
To remove the filter:
Empty the kettle and open the lid. Take hold of the top of the filter and pull upwards, paying partic
ular attention on how the filter locates. The filter should slide out of the grooves with ease and with
out having to use excessive force.

o clean the filter:
Rinse under a tap whilst brushing with a soft brush.

o refit the filter:
Make sure that your hands are clean and free from soap, cream or anything, which might taint the
water. Holding the top of the filter replace the filter ensuring the locking tab at the bottom of the fil
ter clicks into position and the filter is located at each side of the kettle.

• Удалите весь упаковочный материал из чайника.
• Убедитесь, что напряжение, указанное на приборе, соответствует напряжению в
вашем доме.
• Наполните чайник водой до отметки "MAX" (1,7 литр), вскипятите воду, а затем
вылейте ее. Повторите эту процедуру 2 раза. Таким образом, вы удалите частицы,
оставшиеся после производственного процесса.
• Промойте фильтр (6) перед использованием. Для этого необходимо открыть
крышку чайника, нажав на кнопки (8) одновременно, и снять фильтр (6), потянув
его вверх. Чтобы надеть фильтр снова, вставьте выступы на боковых сторонах
фильтра в выемки на внутренней стороне чайника вниз до упора.
ЭКСПЛУАТАЦИЯ ЧАЙНИКА
• Подключите прибор к сети.
• Для наполнения чайника водой снимите его с подставки, откройте крышку,
нажатием на кнопки (8) одновременно, и налейте воду, обращая внимание на
шкалу уровня воды (9). Закройте крышку.
• Поместите наполненный чайник на подставку (5) как вам удобно, т. к. она
позволяет вращать прибор на 360°, установите кнопку переключателя (2) в
положение “I”, при этом загорятся красные индикаторы (3) вокруг подставки. При
включении также загорается голубая подсветка внутри чайника.
• Когда вода закипит, чайник автоматически отключится. Если Вы снимете чайник с
подставки, то он также автоматически отключится.
• Вы можете сами отключить чайник, установив кнопку переключателя (2) в
положение “0”.
• Снимая чайник с подставки, убедитесь, что он отключен.
• После отключения чайника подождите 15 20 с., и вы можете снова пользоваться
прибором.
ПОДДЕРЖАНИЕ ТЕМПЕРАТУРЫ ВОДЫ
Функция поддержания температуры воды позволяет поддерживать температуру в
чайнике примерно 77° после того, как вода закипела. Вы можете активизировать эту
функцию во время процесса кипения чайника, либо после того, как чайник отключится.
Для этого нажмите кнопку поддержания температуры воды (1). Красные индикаторы
(3) вокруг подставки начнут мигать. Для отмены функции нажмите кнопку (1) еще раз,
при этом индикаторы погаснут.
Примечание: Чайник, максимально заполненный водой (1,7 л.), может поддерживать
определенную температуру до 12 часов.
ЧИСТКА И УХОД
• Перед чисткой отключайте прибор от сети.
• Протрите внешнюю поверхность чайника влажной тканью. Для удаления
загрязнений используйте мягкие чистящие средства. Не используйте
металлические щетки и абразивы.
• Не погружайте во время чистки чайник и подставку в воду или другие жидкости.
