As indicated on the temperature control dial and the temperature table steam ironing is only possible at higher ironing temperature 5
At any temperature by pressing the spray button 3 a couple of times the laundry can be damped down fig 5
Do not fill higher than indication max of the water tank in order to avoid spilling out of water do not fill with anything but water if you have to refill while ironing remove the mains plug from the wall socket before filling pour any remaining water out after use 5

If the fabric consists of various kinds of fibers e g cotton with polyester you must always select the lowest ironing temperature of the composition of those fibers 5

Set the temp control knob 12 to the correct temperature as indicated in the ironing instruc tions or in the label when the correct temperature is reached the indication light will go out and the heating will switch off the indication light will turn on and the heating will switch on automatically if the temperature becomes lower than the selected one 5

Sort the laundry out first wool with wool cotton with cotton etc start ironing the fabrics requir ing the lowest temperature and progress to the higher ones because the iron heats up quicker than it cools down 5

Remove the plug from the wall socket and wait for the soleplate to cool down completely 7
Set the temp control knob 12 to max 7
Stand the iron on its rear side 7
Stand the iron upright and let it cool down sufficiently fig 10 7
Storage 7
The casting may be wiped with a damp cloth and then polished with a dry one 7
Turn the continuous steam rotary knob 7 to the position 7
Turn the iron upside down and pour any remaining water out of the water tank fig 9 7
Turn the temp control knob 12 to min and set the continuous steam rotary knob 7 to position o o no steam 7
Unplug the iron and keep it horizontally over a sink 7
