IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Please read these instructions carefully before using.
2. This iron is a "selfadapt" operating voltage range from 110
240V, hence, users are not required to select the voltage
manually.
3. Use the iron only for its intended use.
4. The iron should always be turned "OFF" before plugging or
unplugging from outlet. Never yank the cord to disconnect
from outlet, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
5. Do not operate iron with a damaged cord/plug or if the iron
has been dropped or damaged in any manner. To avoid the
risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron, take it to
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified per
son for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembling can
cause a risk of electric shock when the iron is used.
6. Take care: If you are leaving the appliance momentarily,
always switch it off, disconnect the plug from outlet and
stand the iron on its rear side. Ensure children cannot touch
the iron or its mains cord.
7. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being
used by or near children. Do not leave iron unattended while
connected or on an ironing board.
8. To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the iron, cord or plug in water or other liquids.
9. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water
or steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside
down there may be hot water in the water tank.
10. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.
11. Do not allow the supply cord to touch hot surface. Let the
iron cool completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely
around iron when storing.
12. Always disconnect the iron from electrical outlet when fill
ing water or emptying and when not in use.
13. To avoid an overloaded circuit, do not operate another

- Note when using the iron for the first time testing on an old piece of fabric to ensure that the soleplate and water tank is com pletely clean the iron may smoke slightly when switched on for the first time this is normal and will soon cease 2
