The width of proportional characters during multipoint mode varies depending on your
selected point size.
The width is calculated based on the width of proportional 10-point (10.5-point) characters,
using the following formula:

The tables in this section list the widths for all proportional 10.5-point characters on 24/48-
pin printers.
The widths listed are in 1/360-inch units. For example, the width of the letter w during
proportional spacing is 42/360 inch.
