Proper use of the product
The unit is designed to cut lawn areas in private
house and hobby gardens.
The unit may not be used commercially.
The device may only be used in accordance with the
specifications listed in the operating instructions.
Any unintended use or any activities on the device
not described in these operating instructions are an
unauthorised misuse outside the manufacturer's
legal liability limits.
What are the meanings of the symbols used?
In the operating instructions

General safety information
The user of the device must have read and
understood these operating instructions prior to
its first use in order to safely implement this
device.
Please comply with all safety instructions! If you
disregard any of the safety instructions you may
place yourself and others at risk.
Store all operating information and safety inst-
ructions for future reference.
Keep children away from the device. Keep the
device away from children and unauthorised
persons.
All components of the device, in particular, the
safety mechanisms must be assembled cor-
rectly in order to ensure trouble-free operation.
Conversions, independent modifications and the
use of non-approved parts are not permitted.
Operation / workplace
The device must only be used when it functions
properly. If the device or part of the device is
defective, have it repaired by a specialist.
Always comply with the all applicable domestic
and international safety, health, and working
regulations.
The device may only be put into operation if no
defects are found when it is checked. If a part is
defective it must be replaced before the device
is used again.
Individuals under the age of 16 and those not
familiar with the operation of the device should
not be allowed to operate the device.
People who do not have the physical, mental or
sensory abilities to operate the tool carefully and
safety may not be permitted to use it.
Make sure to always wear personal protective
clothing when operating (Personal protective
clothing – Page 22).
Exercise caution and only work when in good
condition: If you are tired, ill, if you have ingested
alcohol, medication or illegal drugs, do not use
the device since you are not in a condition to use
it safely.
Maintenance
Only those maintenance and fault elimination
tasks described here may be carried out. Any
other tasks must be completed by a specialist.
Check all screws regularly to ensure that they sit
tight.
Only use original replacement parts. Only these
spare parts are designed and suitable for the
device. Other replacement parts will not only
lead to an invalidation of the warranty, they may
also endanger you and your environment.
Storage and transportation
Always store the device in a dry location.

during transportation.
