socket.Applyforcetobothendsofthe

DIMMsimultaneouslyuntiltheretaining

clip snaps back into place and the

DIMMcannotbepushedinanyfurther

toensurepropersittingoftheDIMM.

retaining clip outward.

2. AlignaDIMMonthesocketsuchthat

thenotchontheDIMMmatchesthe

DIMMslotkeyonthesocket.

• Refertotheuserguideforqualiedvendorlistsofthememorymodules.

SupporttheDIMMlightlywithyourngerswhenpressingtheretainingclips.TheDIMM

mightgetdamagedwhenitipsoutwithextraforce.

AlwaysinserttheDIMMintothesocketverticallytopreventDIMMnotchdamage.

ADIMMiskeyedwithanotchsothatittsinonlyonedirection.DONOTforceaDIMM

intoasocketinthewrongdirectiontoavoiddamagingtheDIMM.
