OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET Operation
OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation lowers the noise
level of the outdoor unit by changing the frequency and
fan speed on the outdoor unit. This function is conve-
nient during night.
■ To start OUTDOOR UNIT
QUIET operation
1. Press “QUIET button”.
•
“ ” is displayed on the LCD.
■ To cancel OUTDOOR UNIT
QUIET operation
2. Press “QUIET button” again.

disappears from the LCD.

■
Note on OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation
• If using a multi system, this function will work only when the OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET oper-
ation is set on all operated indoor units.
However, if using priority-room setting, see “Note for Multi System” (page 21.)
•
This function is available in COOL, HEAT, and AUTO modes.
(This is not available in FAN and DRY mode.)
• POWERFUL operation and OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation cannot be used at the
same time.
Priority is given to the function of whichever button is pressed last.
