Besides guaranteeing the necessary air change, the RCU heat recuperative heaters can also recover heat
a high percentage of energy that is contained in foul air.
The heat gained from recycled air is transferred by means of a hygroscopic rotary recuperative heaters to
outer, colder air that gets pre-heated, thereby reducing the thermal shock as compared with inside tem-
perature. During summertime - when the outer air is characterized by high temperature and humidity - these
recuperative heaters similarly allow to pre-chill outside air if combined with an air-conditioning plant.
