Fixed dial number (FDN) [Menu 9-4-4]
(SIM dependent)
You can restrict outgoing calls to selected phone numbers if
supported by your SIM card. The FDN capacity to add depends on
the SIM card. When you enter the FDN, the PIN2 code is required.
This Function enables patial numbers (e.g. area codes) to save.
Examples:
If 3 numbers (0123, 123123, ?89012) are stored in the FDN list,
then you are allowed to dial:
012345678..., 01236789..., 123123 only, 189012, and 289012.
(“?” means any numbers )
If you try to make a call which is not added in the FDN list, you can’t
make a call and see a message “FDN Check”.
• Enable
If the FDN is enabled, you can make a call by only number on a
list. A phonebook function is restricted partially. You can’t add
entries into SIM, but can only add entries into the phone memory.
Also, you can search only phonebook entries which are added into
the phone memory.
• Disable
If the FDN is disabled, you can use a phonebook function.
• Number list
You can see the FDN list. You can add, edit and delete the FDN
by pressing the left soft key [Options].

• Not all SIM cards have a PIN2. If your SIM card does
not, this menu option is not displayed.
