We recommend the use of the ﬂ oor tool to:

Soft backgrounds: carpets and ﬂ oor coverings

Hard backgrounds: wooden, plastic, ceramic-tile ﬂ oors, etc.

Connect the 449 ﬂ oor tool and the tube – press the switch on the ﬂ oor tool as shown on

the picture

for soft backgrounds or for hard backgrounds.

Upholstery, mattresses, etc.

The small nozzle – shall be used to vacuum upholstery, mattresses, curtains, etc.Loose

threads and ﬁ bres are picked up by a special strip.For this operation it is recommended to

decrease the suction of the vacuum cleaner.

Delicate materials and objects with non-smooth surface

The small nozzle – shall be used to vacuum books, painting frames and windows.For this

operation it is recommended to decrease the suction of the vacuum cleaner.

Crevices, corners, cavings, etc. – The crevice nozzle shall be used

to vacuum crevices, corners and other hardly accessible places.

Filtering insert – GORETEX (white) used to perform vacuuming with a paper bag.

Filtering insert – FIZELINA (black) used to perform vacuuming without

a paper bag.

Paper bag – used to store dust while vacuuming.Each vacuum cleaner is

equipped with two paper bags.

REMOVING DRY DUST:

The three-position switch has to be set to the neutral “0”.

1.Traditional vacuuming with a paper bag and without water

The components used are shown on the picture.The dust is stored in the paper

bag.You do not need additional handling to ﬁ nish vacuuming.

2.Vacuuming with a paper bag and water.

The components used are shown on the picture.The dust is stored in the paper

bag.The GORETEX ﬁ ltration insert (white), located in the ﬁ ltering chamber,

prevents water from entering the paper bag.It can be used for multiple

vacuuming.Once you ﬁ nish vacuuming remove water from the container and let

it dry.

3.Vacuuming with water and the FIZELINA ﬁ ltration insert (black), without

a paper bag

The components used are shown on the picture.The dust stored in the ﬁ ltering

chamber is wet.

4.Vacuuming with water and without any ﬁ ltration insert and a paper bag in

the ﬁ ltering chamber.

The components used are shown on the picture.The dust is collected in the

ﬁ ltering chamber (coarse particles) and water.
