how to operate the convection oven

1. Place either the low or the dual rack inside the glass bowl

of the oven as illustrated in Fig.5.

Please note: For cooking multiple items you may use

both racks and extender ring at the same time.

2. Secure the lid on glass bowl.

Please note: The lid works as a safety mechanism, lid

must be pushed to the horizontal position to turn oven on.

When lid is in vertical position, oven is o.

3. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. Turn on the

power switch at the back of unit as illustrated in Fig.6.

Please note: When the power is turned on, all indicating

lights on the control panel will light up 2 seconds and then tur-

ned o entering into sleep mode. Press any key to wake up the

unit from sleep mode.

4. If preheat is required in the recipe, follow this procedure:

Press the “PRE HEAT” button. This will cause the oven to

operate at its highest temperature and fan speed for 6

minutes. Preheating is complete when the timer reaches

“0:00” and the fan light ashes. Press the “+” button to

increase the preheating time, if needed.

Please note: Always preheat the oven before cooking

because preheat can make cooking faster and more evenly.

5. Place food directly on rack, allow sucient space betwe-

en the food and the heating element so that the food

can’t burn or catch re. Close the lid.

6. Time Selection: press the up or down arrow lightly to

raise or lower the time selected in increments of 1 minute

upto9hoursand59minutes.Holdinganarrowbutton

down will cause the increment more quickly.

7. Temperature Selection: Press the “TEMP °C” button

gently to move the temperature selector through the

temperatures one at a time from left to right. A light will

indicate the selected temperature. Once 260°C is reached

the cycle will start all over again at 65°C (Wash).

8. Fan Speed Selection: Press the “SPEED” button to

change the fan speed. The indicator light will move from

“MAX” to “MIN” setting. “MAX” fan speed (recommended)

helps the food cook faster, and improves browning. For

slower cooking you may use “MIN” fan speed.

Please note: Function indicator light will blink as soon

as a function is selected. However the oven does not start its

operation until the “START/PRE SET” button is pressed.

9. Clear Selection: Press the “CANCEL” bouton to reset all

functions. The timer will be reset to “0:00”, temperature

indicator switched to 65°C (Wash) and fan speed indica-

tor light switched to “MAX”.

10. To begin cooking, press the “START/PRE SET” button. The

oven starts cooking.

Please note: The unit will not operate unless time and

temperature are set and the lid is down.

Please note: When the oven temperature reaches the

selected temperature during cooking cycle the heating ele-

ment (halogen bulb) will shut o. However, when the oven

temperature drops below the selected temperature, the hea-

ting element will automatically go ON again. This is a normal

phenomenon.

11 . When the cooking cycle is nished and the oven will beep

6 times.

Please note: After the procedure is over, If the oven

temperature is over default temperature, the fan will continue

to operate to allow the heating element to cool until the oven

temperature drops down to default temperature, the fan will

stop operating.

Pause cooking: Before setting time is up, user can pause

operation by simply opening the lid and resume cooking by
