1) Confi rm system selection. Opti onal com ponents m ay be field or factory installed.
2) If LPS and/or HPS not installed or removed, a ju mper wire must be present across circu it for syst em to operate.
3) For proper syste m operation, consul t indo or unit and outdoor unit installation inst ructi ons to confirm syst em match up and blower spe ed selection.
4) Alternat e double pole contac tor used on some syst ems.
5) Only one sta rt assist method to be used at a time, consul t outdoo r unit inst allation instr ucti ons for application information. Use only f actory approved accesso ries.
6) Optional OFM com ponents m ay connect capac itor common and motor com mon, for r ecipr ocati ng compres sor ther e may have cran kcase heat er co nsu lt outdoor unit inst allation
instruct ions for details.Select the run ning capacitor(one or dual)and connect.If IFM or OFM only have on e capacit or wire,co nnect Com wire t o cap acitor.
7) Indoor unit shipped w ithout optional electric heater kit. To inst all optional heater ki t,remove po wer pig tail up to 9 pin plug. Inst all heater kit and con nect with mating 9 pin plu g. Run
syst em power connect ions directly to electric heater kit power terminals. Consult heater kit inst allation instructions for complete details.

- Line insulation suction line requires insulation in order to prevent condensation from forming on the piping and to prevent heat gain caused by surrounding air generally 3 8 wall thickness of armflex or equivalent is satisfactory in severe application hot high humidity areas greater thickness may be required apply the line insulation by sliding it on the sealed tuing before cutting and making connections 9
- Liquid line does not necessarily need insulation however if they are exposed to high ambient temperatures i e kitchen boiler rooms hot attics rooftop surface then they should be insulated make sure to use the proper size tubing for the liquid line to prevent liquid refrigerant flashing to a vapor within the liquid line 9
