SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Dear customer please read and comply with this user manual carefully before you use the

appliance and save it for future reference.

Danger

* Never touch the mains plug and the socket with wet hands.

* Never immerse the iron or the steam generator into water.

Warning

* Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the local mains voltage before

you connect the appliance.

* Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord, the supply hose or the appliance itself

show visible damage, or if the appliance has been dropped or leaks.

* Never leave the appliance unattended when it is in operation.

* For the steam iron, disconnecting the plug from the socket before filling water into water

tank.

* If the mains cord or the supply hose is damaged, you must have it replaced a relevant service

centre.

* The appliance must be used and placed on a flat , stable ,heat-resident surface .When you

place the iron on the iron rest ,make sure that the surface on which you place it is stable.

* The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety.

* Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with appliance.

* Do not let the mains cord and supply hose come into contact with the hot soleplate of the iron.

* Your appliance gives off steam which can cause burns .handle your iron carefully, particularly

when using the vertical steam function. Never direct the steam towards persons or animal.

* If steam or hot water droplets escape from under the rinsing cap knob when the appliance

heats up, switch off the appliance and tighten the rinsing cap knob. If steam continues to escape

when the appliance heats up, switch off the appliance and contact a relevant service centre.

* Do not remove the rinsing flap from the steam generator when the steam generator is still

hot or under pressure.

* This appliance is intended for household use only.
