also connect a keyboard, mouse, joystick or other control device:
-
In the Home Screen press , then select Device Setup and, in the RC and
Accessories section, select Add Device.
-
Set the device to the connection mode. If you want to link an RC, simultaneously
press and hold both volume control buttons until the indicator flashes.

Changing the Date and Time
-
In the Home Screen press , then select the Device Setup section, then select
Date & Time.

To enable the date and time to be automatically updated via the Internet,
press Automatic Date and Time Setup and activate the option Use Web Time.
If the time for the wrong time zone is displayed, return to the date and time
settings menu, click Select Time Zone and select the time zone of your region.
If you wish to set the date and time manually, click Automatic Date and Time
Setup and deactivate the option Use Web Time. Then enter the desired date
and time in the date and time setup menu.
Changing the Screen Settings
- In the Home Screen press , then select Image.
- Change the settings:
Backlight. Changes the screen brightness.
Image Mode. The brightness, contrast, edge smoothing and other settings
selected for the specific type of video. Select the mode that corresponds
to what you watch most often: e.g. the Sport mode will be best for sports
programmes and videos.
Color Temperature. The color shade superimposed on the picture. Usually,
video will look best at standard or warm color temperature, however it may
be worth it to experiment and choose the temperature that suits you best.
Noise Reduction. When this option is activated the TV will try to automatically
enhance the picture: remove noise and blur. If you usually watch high quality
video, you can leave noise reduction at the medium level or turn it off.
Image Format. Sets the screen size ratio. The default screen ratio is 16:9, as it
fits most TV channels and videos. If you watch videos of a different format or
want to magnify the picture, select the appropriate item on the list.
MEMC. Makes the picture smoother and sharper by adding extra frames to
the videos. This setting is not required for good quality video: you may turn it
off or leave it at medium level.
