Backup
To backup the device’s settings, do the following:
1. In the Password field, key in a password for the setting file to be backed
up.
Note: Entering a password is optional. If you do enter a password, make a
note of it, since you will need it to be able to restore the file.
2. Click Save.
3. When the browser asks what you want to do with the file, select Save to
disk; then save it in a convenient location.
Restore
To restore a previous backup, do the following:
1. Click Browse, navigate to the file and select it.
Note: If you have renamed the file, you can leave the new name as is.
There is no need to return it to its original name.
2. In the Password field, key in the same password that you used to save the
file.
Note: If you did not set a password when you created the backup file, you
can omit this step.
3. Select as many of the options presented as you wish to restore.
4. Click Restore.
After the file is restored, a message appears to inform you that the
procedure has completed successfully.
