1 ) Choose a good ying site
a. Find a large open area approximately 100m x100m (109yards
x 109yards) such as a football eld. Do not y in populous areas,
streets, houses or near power lines.
b. This product is designed for ight in still wind; never y this model
if the wind is over 8kph (5mph).
c. Always y over soft grassy elds. Flying over parking lots or streets
is a safety hazard and landing on hard surfaces could lead to
damage to your model.
2) Pre-ight check
a. Fully extend the antenna.
b. Check wind direction and speed (Pic1).
c. Turn Tx switch to the “ON” position.
d. Turn the power switch the on model to the “ON” position.
e. Check model response to throttle and turn controls.
3) Takeo
a. Hold the model under its wing.
b. Push the throttle stick all the way up (full throttle).
c. Gently toss the model level to the horizon and into the wind.
d. Allow the airplane to y on its own for 3-5 seconds at full throttle
to gain altitude (Pic2).
4) Steering your model
a. This R/C model is controlled by tapping the lateral control stick to
the left and to the right.
b. Holding the stick in the left or right position will not result in a
more extreme turn; this feature is integrated into the model to
prevent novice yers from putting the model into excessively
sharp turns which results in loss of aircraft control.
c. To execute a sharp left turn tap the lateral control stick to the left
with slow repeated taps (Pic3).
d. To execute a slower more even turn to the left, tap the lateral
control stick on the transmitter with quick repeated taps (Pic4).
e. To return the model to straight level ight, tap in the opposite
direction until the model’s wings are level.
f. To gain altitude push the throttle to the maximum level (up), to
maintain level altitude hold the throttle sick in the middle, and to
decrease your altitude reduce the throttle (downward position).
g. When turning to the left or right, increase the throttle to prevent
the model from losing altitude while banking (Pic5).
i. Note – when the model is ying toward you its responses will be
reversed in relation to yourself. For example if the model is ying
toward you, and you push the lateral control sick to the right,
the model will turn to the left in relation to your position.
