TAIL: Use clear tape to repair dents and tears
Repairing the model
Even the best RC pilot has bad days. Crashing is an inevitable part of the model airplane hobby. Fortunately this model can often be
repaired by using some common household items.
Repairing broken wings:
a) Line the broken surface with 5 minute epoxy glue and hold the
wings in place until the glue sets.
b) Wipe o any excess epoxy glue from the joint.
c) Place a piece of clear tape over the broken portion to act as
reinforcement.
Repairing fuselage breaks:
a) Line the break with epoxy glue and hold the fuselage pieces in
place until the glue sets.
b) Wipe o any excess epoxy glue from the joint.
Repairing small dents and tears:
Use clear tape to repair small dents, tears and nicks in the leading
edges of the wings or the tail as illustrated.
WINGS: Carefully hold in
place until epoxy sets.
Wipe excess epoxy o
of the surface.
Reinforce
with clear tape.
FUSELAGE: Like the wing, apply epoxy to the
broken area and hold two pieces together until
epoxy sets and dries.
KEEP FUSELAGE STRAIGHT
