Silent mode
• To enter silent mode, press and hold the "-" button for 5 seconds. The appliance
indicates the change to silent mode by a signal tone lasting 2 seconds.
• In this setting, only the end of a programme and the occurrence of an
error is indicated by an acoustic signal. This setting is retained even after
disconnection from the power supply.
• Silent mode is ended by pressing and holding the "+" button for 5 seconds.
Operating the appliance

• The surfaces of the appliance, lid, pot, steaming baskets and
other accessories are getting hot during use!
• Hot surfaces as well as the pot contents are initially still
hot, even after switch-off!
• Be careful when working with hot liquids or food!
• When opening the lid, hot steam or hot water can escape!
• When releasing the steam pressure, make sure that the hot
steam can escape easily and do never bend over the appliance!
• Never try to open the lid by force when the appliance is
under pressure!
• Only open the lid, when the steam pressure has been com-
pletely released!
Tips and notes
• Please pay attention that the gasket ring might possibly take on the smell of the finished dishes. For this
purposes we have enclosed a second gasket ring. Just use one gasket ring for “sweet dishes” and the
other one for “savory dishes”.
• If required, you can purchase an additional cooking pot or replacement gasket ring from our customer
service department.
