F
ill a 0.5 litre plastic water bottle with clean tap water, distilled water or still water. Do not use carbon-
ated water. The manufacturer expressly recommends the use of distilled water so as to avoid limescale.
The water temperature may be a maximum of 50 °C, so as to avoid damage to the device.
F
asten a bottle adapter onto the bottle. There are two adapters available that fit most standard plastic
bottles:
1. “PC 1810” thread with a thread diameter of 28 mm and
2. “30/25” thread with a thread diameter of 30 mm.
T
urn the bottle upside down and place it in the top of the air humidifier. Do not compress the plastic
bottle. The base will fill with water automatically.
C
onnect the power supply unit connector plug with the connector socket of the air humidifier and insert
the power supply unit into the socket. Ensure that the cable does not pose a trip hazard.
T
urn the control dial clockwise (to the right) to switch on the air humidifier.
7. Usage
IMPORTANT
T
he immediate vicinity of the air humidifier may become damp. Reduce the nebulisation per-
formance or put the device in a more suitable place.
C
alcareous water can leave white deposits. Use distilled water instead.
I
f the device should accidentally tip over, water may escape, even if the device is switched off
and unplugged.
C
heck the humidity of your ambient air regularly. Intensive continuous operation can cause the
ambient air to become excessively humid. The relative air humidity should not exceed 60%.
B
y turning the control dial to the right, you can adjust the nebulisation performance between “MIN”
and “MAX”.
T
hrough operation, the device and the water in the base warm up.
The air outlet is illuminated in blue when there is enough water.
T
o switch the air humidifier on again, turn the control dial to the left.
If there is not enough water, the device will switch OFF (red LED).
S
witch off the device when refilling the bottle with water. Change the water in the bottle every day so
that fresh water is always taken in.
S
witch off the device and pull out the plug when you are not using the air humidifier.
E
mpty any remaining water when the device is not in use.
8. Cleaning and maintenance
Weekly cleaning and disinfection is a requirement for fault-free and hygienic operation.
WARNING
S
witch off the air humidifier each time before cleaning. Pull the plug out of the mains socket.
