Aqara JY-GZ-03AQ [6/38] Installation

Please first place the detector in the target position for installation,

load the batteries, and press the silence/self-test button to verify the

communication distance. You should make sure that the device

communicates properly with the hub before installing and fixing it in

position.

Installation

1.Aer loading the battery, hold down the silence/self-test button for

more than 3 seconds to confirm that the indicator flashes red, yellow

and green in turn, with three beeps of the buzzer, which indicates

that the self-test is normal.

2. Choose a suitable position in the middle of the roof and use an

impact drill to punch holes in accordance with the holes on the

mounting plate.

3. Install the expansion tube at the punch position.

4. Secure the mounting plate with self-tapping screws.

5. Align the "△" mark on the back of the detector with the same mark

on the mounting plate, and rotate clockwise to fix it.

6. Use screws first to ensure a more secure installation.
