cycle; in this case keep pressing the button until none of the indicators is on.

Available values: 0 – 500 – 700 – 900 – 1200 – 1400 rpm.

Disable the drying for items requiring careful handling (e.g. for woolen garments,

delicate fabrics or sports thermal underwear).

Note. If you start the separate «Spin» program when no speed is set the machine

will only drain the water.

DRYING

This washing machine can dry your laundry by two methods:

– by automatically setting the required time (Auto);

– for a time selected by the User.

By repeatedly pressing the «Drying» button you can select either the first

method (Auto) or any of the following drying times: 30 – 60 – 90 – 120 – 150 – 180

– 210 – 240 minutes.

In order to add drying to a washing program, select the program (except for the

«Drying» program), then follow the above instructions.

If you wish to apply drying as a separate program, first select the separate

«Drying» program with the selector dial, then set the drying method as

described above.

Items including natural or synthetic padding should only be dried by the

automatic method (Auto) and only by adding the «Drying» function to the

washing program; never use the separate drying program for such items.

NOTE: when the automatic drying method is selected the machine will first

calculate the time from the laundry weight, and then adjust the drying time

depending on the current humidity of the clothes. If the clothes are too wet or

the load is too heavy, the value of «0:20» may stay unchanged on the display for

a prolonged time.

Be careful when drying certain items made of synthetic fiber, wool, delicate,

«breathing» or other specialty fabrics, as such items may shrink, deform or

otherwise become damaged at a high temperature. Please check the garment

manufacturer’s care instructions.

When choosing the drying time, ensure that it is adequate for the amount and

degree of humidity of the laundry loaded into the machine, to avoid over-drying.

You should rather select a shorter time and then run an additional drying cycle

than damage expensive and valuable clothes.

ATTENTION

The water supply valve should by all means be open during the drying cycle, as

water is a part of the drying technique.

NOTE: before applying the «Drying» program apart from washing, we recommend

pre-drying the wet clothes with the «Spin» program.

DRUM CLEANING

The drum of the washing machine contacts dirty clothing and detergents.

Bacteria and detergent residues can accumulate in the drum over time. High

humidity inside the machine which lasts for a long time after laundry completion,

contributes to the buildup of mould and putrid smell.

In order to extend the service life of the washing machine and keep the drum

clean, wipe the inside of the drum (including the folds of the rubber seal) dry

after each laundry and regularly use the «Drum Cleaning» function.

1. Before activating the drum cleaning function, ensure that there is nothing left

in the drum.

2. Add a special drum cleaning detergent for automatic washing machines into

the main wash detergent compartment.

3. Select the program and press the «Start/Pause» button. The cleaning is

performed at 85 °С.

4. Wait for the program to complete and wipe the inside of the drum with a soft

dry cloth.

INCREASE RINSE NUMBER

Using the «Rinse» button you can control the number of rinsing cycles in the

selected washing program.

CHILD LOCK FUNCTION

This function allows keeping the safety of your children and the appliance under

control.

This function is activated after a program is selected and started by holding

down the «Speed» button for 3 seconds. The relevant indicator will appear on

the display. All functions and modes of the machine will become inaccessible.

In order to deactivate the function repeat the same actions as for activating it

(the indicator will go out).

NOTE: with the child lock activated you can still turn the machine off with the

selector dial. When the machine is turned on again it will restart the program

from the moment at which it was turned off.

«SILENT» MODE

For disabling the audio signals simultaneously hold down the «Speed» and

«SMART» buttons for 3 seconds. All signal and alarm sounds will be disabled.

Re-activate the sounds in the same way.

SMART MODE

If you are tired, in a hurry or simply don’t like to figure out the right washing

parameters, the machine can do it all by itself.

In the SMART mode the washing machine evaluates the parameters of the loaded

laundry and automatically selects the duration, temperature (usually within a 20

to 40 °С range), number of rinsing sub-cycles, etc.

This mode van be easily started in one of the following ways:

1. With the machine turned off – by holding down the SMART button for 3 seconds.

2. With the machine turned on – either as described under Item 1, or by pressing

the SMART button once and then pressing the «Start/Pause» button.

NOTE: the SMART mode is designed for washing laundry made of cotton, linen,

synthetic or mixed fabrics, with a mild degree of contamination, worn every day.

For heavy or unusual contamination, or for laundry requiring special care, please

use the specialized programs.

CHANGING SETTINGS DURING PROGRAM EXECUTION

Even when the washing has been already started you can still adjust its settings.

For this purpose put the currently running program on hold by pressing the

«Start/Pause» button. Change the settings or add/or auxiliary functions.

If the current stage of the washing cycle allows making the selected changes,

they will be implemented.

Resume machine operation by pressing the «Start/Pause» button.

NOTE: do not add detergent if you have changed the program.

LAUNDRY TOP

To load additional clothes into the machine, put it on hold by pressing the «Start/

Pause» button. If the water level allows this and the temperature inside is not too

high, the door will unlocked (the relevant indicator will disappear).

Open the door, add clothes into the drum (do not exceed the maximum batch

weight).

Close the door and resume machine operation by pressing the «Start/Pause»

button.

INTERRUPTING THE CURRENT PROGRAM

You may need to prematurely abort the machine operation. If the water level

is below the loading door opening, simply hold down the ON/OFF button. If the

temperature inside is safe the door will unlock (the relevant indicator icon will

go out).

If there is enough water inside the machine that it would spill on the floor when

the door is opened, the machine will have to be drained.

To do that turn the machune off by holding down the ON/OFF button. The current

program will be aborted.

Then turn the machine on and select the «Spin» program and set the speed to no

rotation (none of the rpm indicators should light up). Water will be drained from

the machine and the door will unlock upon program completion.

You can now turn the machine off.

IMBALANCE PROTECTION

The machine is equipped with an automatic system that detects an imbalance.

If, before the start of tumble-drying the machine detects that the laundry is

unevenly distributed in the drum, the latter will rotate until the imbalance is

rectified.
