Built-under Refrigerator
Reversing the fridge door
The side at which the door opens
can be changed, from the right side (as
supplied) to the left side, if the installa-
tion site requires.
Warning! When reversing the
door, the appliance must not be con-
nected to the mains. Ensure that the
plug is removed from the mains socket.
Tools you will need(Not provided):
Philips Screwdriver &
Slotted Screwdriver
Wrench (8mm)
Note:
When required, tilt the refrigera-
tor back in order to gain access to the
base, you should rest the appliance on
soft foam packaging or similar mate-
rial to avoid damaging the backboard of
the refrigerator. To reverse the door, the
following steps are generally recom-
mended.
1. Stand the refrigerator upright.
Open the door, remove the upper hinge
cover (left and right). Remove the lower
screw hole cover for the cabinet. Re-
move the screw hole cover for the door.
2. With the door closed, remove the
screws on the outside of hinges. Open
the hinges away from the door. With
the hinge open undo the screws hold-
ing it to the cabinet. Be careful with the
hinge, use a long shafted screwdriver if
you have one.
3. Turn the hinge over and place it
on the diagonally opposite comer of
the cabinet. Screw back in place. Repeat
with the other hinge. Replace the door
and re-attach the hinges. Check that the
door is aligned horizontally and verti-
