English
Switching the power tool on / off
Switching on:
Move locking button 3 with thumb of the right hand
as shown into g. 9.2 - this will enable you to pull the
power tool body down and unlock on / off switch 2
Press on / off switch 2
Switching off:
In order to switch off the power tool, release switch
button 2
Dust suction during the power tool
operation
Dust suction allows reducing dust
concentration in the air and prevents its
accumulation at the workplace While
operating the power tool, always use a
vacuum cleaner suitable for collecting process-
generated dust A special adapter is used to join the
vacuum cleaner to coupler 6
Design features of the power tool
Speed selector thumbwheel
Using speed selector thumbwheel 26, you may select
the required spindle speed (also during operation)
The required speed is dependent on the material and
can be determined with practical trials
When operating your power tool at a low speed for a
long time, it has to be cooled down for 3 minutes To
do it, set a maximum speed and leave your power tool
to run idle
Soft start
Soft start (limiting system of starting current) enables
smooth start of power tools - the disc is being run up
gradually with no jerks and kickbacks; no jump-like
load is imposed on the motor upon switching
Rotation speed stabilization system
The stabilization system maintains the preset RPM
both at an idle speed and under load This allows for
the smooth advance of the power tool during opera-
tion
Overload protection
Overload protection system of the engine automatically
switches off the power tool in case of overheating
which may arise during cutting the hard wood, the use
of blunt circular saw blades, etc
Recommendations on the power tool
operation
Cutting depth setting (see g. 9-10)
Before starting the operation, adjust sawing depth de-
pending on the work piece thickness The best cutting
edge quality is achieved when the projected part of
saw blade 12 does not exceed tooth height
Loosen xing screw 18 (see g. 9.1).
To set the depth of the cut, move the screw 18 up
or down The value of the cutting depth you set is
indicated by the indicator 17 on the scale 20 To adjust
the depth of the cut within 2 mm, use the eccentric 19
Tighten xing screw 18
Cutting angle setting (see g. 10)
The power tool enables smooth cutting angle
adjustment within 0°- 45° range
Loosen two xing screws 5 (see g. 10.1).
Set required cutting angle on scale 15, changing
power tool body inclination angle (see g. 10.2).
Tighten two xing screws 5
Remember that during inclined cutting
the cutting depth shown on scale 15 does
not correspond with actual values. In this
case measure the depth of the cut with
the help of a measuring tool (distance "a", see
g. 10.3).
Cutting marks (see g. 11-12)
Cutting mark 10 shows saw blade 12 position during
vertical cutting (see g. 11).
Cutting mark 9 shows saw blade 12 position during
cutting at 45° angle (see g. 12).
Make trial sawing to avoid errors.
Sawing (see g. 13)
The efciency and the quality of cutting
operations depends on the state and the
form of saw blade 12 teeth, therefore
proper selection of saw blade is extremely
important depending on the material being pro-
cessed and the type of works being performed.
Make sure that the work piece is safely xed.
Switch on the power tool before saw blade 12 touch-
es the work piece Let saw blade 12 gain maximal ro-
tating speed
Smoothly move down body of the power tool and
move the power tool forward without bending or pushing
Never press the tool - sawing requires certain time
Extra pressure will overload the power tool rather than
facilitate the operation
Use additional supports when cutting large sheets
(chipboards, etc) to avoid bending and possible saw
blade 12 blocking (see g. 13).
Cutting with parallel guide (see g. 1, 14)
Parallel guide 28 enables cutting along existing direct
work piece edge, and producing equally wide stripes
Loosen xing screw 4 (see g. 1.1).
Move parallel guide 28 to set a required work piece
width
Tighten xing screw 4 (see g. 1.1).
Perform the operation as described above (see
g. 14.1).
