• Never allow persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacity, or lacking

experience or the required awareness, or persons unfamiliar with these instructions to use

the machine.

• Do not allow other persons within 15 meters of the machine’s range of action when using

the unit.

• Before using the machine, check that the bolt securing the blade is properly tightened (see

chapter 5.3 Blade assembly (Fig. 10)).

WARNING

The machine must be fitted with the cutting tools recommended by the

Manufacturer (see chapter 14.2 Recommended cutting devices). Using

unauthorized tools can lead to serious or fatal injuries.

• Never use the machine without the blade guard or the trimmer head (see chapter 5.1 Safety

guard assembly (Fig. 5)).

• Before starting the engine, make sure that the blade is free to move and is not in contact

with any foreign objects.

• While working, check the blade frequently by stopping the engine. Replace the blade as

soon as cracks or breaks appear.

• Only use the machine in well-ventilated places, do not use in explosive or flammable

atmospheres or in closed environments.

• Never touch the blade or attempt any maintenance work while the engine is running.

• It is prohibited to fit any device to the machine PTO other than that supplied by the

Manufacturer.

• Do not use a machine that has been damaged, badly repaired, improperly assembled or

modified.

• Do not attempt to remove or damage or bypass any of the safety devices.

• Keep all danger and safety labels in perfect condition. If they become damaged or worn,

replace them immediately (see chapter 3 SAFETY SYMBOLS AND WARNINGS (Fig. 1)).

• Do not use the machine for purposes other than those indicated in this manual (see chapter

2.1 Intended use).

• Never leave the machine unattended with the engine running.

• Do not start the engine with the arm not mounted.

• Check the machine daily to ensure that all safety and other devices are perfectly functional.

• Do not attempt to carry out any servicing or repairs other than normal maintenance. Any

other operation must be entrusted to an Authorized Service Center.

• When disposing of an old machine at the end of its useful life, think of the environment.

Take your old unit to your dealer who will arrange for its proper placement.

• This manual is an integral part of the machine and must always follow it through all changes

in ownership, even temporary ones.

• Always contact your dealer for any further details.

• Retain this Instruction Book and refer to it before using the machine.
