14. Always use the electric kettle on a level, uncluttered and heat-resistant

surface.

15. Make sure that the lead cable does not hang over the edge of the worktop

or table, since this can cause accidents, for example if small children pull on

the cable.

16. Route the lead cable so that it is prevented from being pulled or tripped

over.

17. Never wrap the lead cable around the appliance;

18. Use the electric kettle only indoors.

19. Use the appliance only for heating water. Do not use it to heat milk or

other liquids, since these will boil over when heated.

20. Never heat objects such as cans or bottles in the electric kettle.

21. Make sure that the lid of the appliance is always completely closed, to

prevent injuries from hot splashing water.

22. Do not open the lid as long as the water is boiling, to prevent injuries from

hot splashing water.

23. Never switch the appliance on if there is no water in the kettle jug.

24. Make sure that all users, especially children, are aware of the danger of

injury from escaping steam or hot splashing water. Risk of burns!

25. Never fill the appliance with more than 1.7 liters of water, to prevent the

water from boiling over.

26. Do not move the appliance as long as it is in operation, to prevent

scalding from splashing water.

27. The electric kettle features boil dry protection, which automatically shuts

the appliance off if the heating element becomes too hot. Allow the appliance

to cool off during approx. 15 minutes. Then fill the kettle jug with cold water.

The boil dry protection will be deactivated and the appliance is ready for

operation again.

28. Do not use the appliance with accessories of other manufacturers or

brands, to prevent damage.
