of 6 seconds. This feature is only available if the temperature adjusted

previously is at least 95 °C. The default setting shuts the appliance off

6 seconds after having reached the boiling point.

Start-up and use

1. Clean the inside of the kettle jug with a damp cloth.

2. Put the base on an even, stable and heat-resistant surface.

3. Connect the plug to a wall socket.

4. Take the kettle jug off the base to fill it with water. Press the button in the lid.

The lid will unlock and can be opened.

5. Fill the kettle jug with minimum 0.5 liters („MINIMUM“ mark) and maximum

of 1.7 liters („MAXIMUM“ mark) of water. Fill the kettle jug up to the

„MAXIMUM“ mark when using it for the first time.

Attention :

If the kettle is filled beyond its maximum capacity, boiling water can

splash out.

6. Press the lid slightly until it locks into place. The locking mechanism

prevents the lid from opening accidentally when pouring the water out.

7. Put the kettle jug straight on the base in order to establish the electrical

contact. If the kettle jug is not placed correctly, it will not be possible to turn

the appliance on.

8. Pressing the key , you can now put the appliance into operation and boil

water without further settings.

9. To change the boiling temperature or the shut-off point or use the

temperature maintenance feature, you may now execute the desired settings

as described in the chapter „FEATURES“ and turn the appliance on.

10. When using the appliance for the first time, pour the water away after

boiling it.

11.When pressing the key the appliance switches to operation mode and

starts the heating process. The „kettle“symbol in the display starts to flash and
