DESCALING

1. The anti-scale filter has to be cleaned regularly. Please empty the kettle jug

completely and allow it to cool off. Carefully remove the filter from the spout.

Clean the filter carefully with a soft brush under running water. You may also

place the filter in a bowl with a decaling solution. Rinse the filter with clear

water and insert it in the spout.

2. To maintain the appliance‘s life cycle and performance, it should be decaled

regularly according to the hardness of the water in your area

3. For decaling fill half the kettle jug with a solution of water and commercial

vinegar in equal parts. Bring the liquid to boil and leave it in the kettle jug for a

while.

4. Pour the decaling solution away.

5. Then fill the kettle jug with fresh water and bring to a boil. Pour this water

away as well. Then rinse the kettle jug at least twice with clear water.

6. You may also use commercial decaling pro-ducts following the

corresponding instructions for use.
