OSPF Commands
This chapter explains how to use commands to configure the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
routing protocol on the Switch.
45.1 OSPF Overview
OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) is a link-state protocol designed to distribute routing
information within an autonomous system (AS). An autonomous system is a collection of
networks using a common routing protocol to exchange routing information.
45.2 Command Summary
The following section lists the commands for this feature.

Enters the configuration mode for this
routing domain.

ip ospf authentication-key <key> Specifies the authentication key for OSPF. C 13
no ip ospf authentication-key <key> Disables OSPF authentication in this
routing domain.

settings in the routing domain as the
associated area.
