Dépannage
Si un défaut de fonctionnement se produit, examinez les éléments suivants avant
de contacter Cat Eye ou votre détaillant pour assurer la réparation ou service.
Probléme / Éléments de vérification/Solution
L'affichage du mouvement devient plus lent.
La température environnante est-elle basse (au-dessous de zéro centigrade) ?
Peut être utilisé au-dessous de 0° avec un affichage d'écran plus lent.
Tous les caractères numériques affichés sur deux lignes dans l'écran-3 clignotent.
La batterie de l’appareil principal est presque épuisée.
Remplacez-la immédiatement par une nouvelle batterie (CR2032). Après rem-
placement, soyez sûr de répéter l'opération (page 10).
Tous les caractères numériques affichés sur l'écran-1 et l'écran-2 clignotent.
La batterie du capteur sans fil est presque épuisée.
Remplacez-la immédiatement par une nouvelle batterie (CR2032). Après rem-
placement, soyez sûr de contrôler l'identification du capteur (page 27).
L'affichage n'apparaît pas.
La batterie de l'appareil est-elle épuisée ?
Remplacez-la avec une nouvelle batterie (CR2032). Après remplacement,
soyez sûr de repeter l'opération (page 10).
L'affichage apparaît sans aucune signification.
Répétez l'opération (page 10).
Des valeurs anormales apparaissent.
Y a t-il des objets émettant les ondes électromagnétiques (des pistes ferroviaires,
stations de transmission pour la télévision, etc...) tout près ?
Eloignez l'appareil de n'importe quel objet qui peut causer des interférences, et
réinitialisez les informations.
Appuyer sur le bouton START/ENTER n'allume pas ou n'arrête pas la mesure.
Vérifiez si le mode automatique est active (à l'aide de l'élément s'illuminant).
Quand l'élément s'illumine, le mode automatique est active; vous ne pouvez
pas commencer ou arrêter la mesure avec la touche. Arrêtez le mode automati-
que. (Voir le mode automatique à la page 26.)
Dans le mode menu, les réglages ne peuvent pas être modifiés.
L’ordinateur est-il en train d’effectuer une mesure du temps et/ou de la vitesse?
Certains réglages ne peuvent pas être modifiés lors d’une mesure.
Vérifiez que la mesure du temps et/ou de la vitesse a été arrêté (certains régla-
ges ne peuvent pas être effectués à moins qu’une réinitialisation de la mesure
principale ne soit faite à l’avance.)
Trouble shooting
If a malfunction occurs, check the following before contacting Cat Eye or your
retailer for repair or service.
Trouble / Check Items / Remedy
Display motion becomes slower.
Is the surrounding temperature low (below zero centigrade/32 farenheit)?
Can be used below 0° with slower screen response.
All numeric characters displayed in two lines on Display-3 flash.
The remaining battery capacity for the main unit has become low.
Replace it with a new battery (CR2032) in good time. After replacement, be
sure to perform the restarting operation (page 10).
All numeric characters displayed on Display-1 and Display-2 flash.
The remaining battery capacity for the wireless sensor has become low.
Replace it with a new battery (CR2032) in good time. After replacement, be
sure to check the sensor ID (page 27).
No displays appear.
Is the battery for the main unit used up?
Replace it with a new battery (CR2032). After replacement, be sure to per-
form the restarting operation (page 10).
Meaningless display appears.
Perform the restarting operation (page 10).
Abnormal measured values appear.
Are there any objects emitting electromagnetic waves (railway tracks, trans-
mitting stations for television, etc.) nearby?
Keep the unit away from any object that may be causing interference, and
reset the data.
Pressing the START/ENTER button does not start or stop measurement.
Check whether the auto-mode is turned on (with the icon illuminating).
When the icon illuminates, the auto-mode is on; you cannot start or
stop measurement by pressing the button. Turn off the auto-mode. (See
“Auto-mode” on page 26.)
In menu mode, cannot change settings.
Is the computer currently measuring time and/or speed?
Some settings cannot be changed when measurement is in progress.
Make sure that the timer and/or speed measurement are stopped (some
settings cannot be made without first resetting the main measurement.)
