I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully remove multicooker and its accessories from the packaging. Dispose
of all packaging materials. Keep all warning labels, including serial number
identication label located on the housing. The absence of the serial number
will deprive you of your warranty benets! Wipe the housing of the unit with a
soft, damp cloth. Wash the bowl with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thor-
oughly. Odor on rst use of the appliance is normal and does not indicate
malfunction. In such case, clean the unit (page 48).
CAUTION! Do not use the appliance in case of any malfunctions.
II. OPERATING MULTICOOKER
Before Operating
Place the appliance on a at, stable, and hard surface away from wallpaper,
decorative coatings, or any other objects or cabinets that could be damaged by
steam, humidity, or high temperatures.
Before operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the multicooker
have no dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There should not be any
obstructions between heating element and the bowl.
“МАСТЕРШЕФ ЛАЙТ” Function (cooking temperature control)
The function allows adjusting cooking temperature before the beginning of the
program or during its operation (except “ЙОГУРТ” program). Cooking tempera-
ture can be adjusted between 35 and 170°С in 5°С intervals.
To adjust cooking temperature:
1. After selecting the program or during its operation press “Темп.” button.
2. Use “–“ button to reduce and “+” button to increase the temperature value.
Press and hold the corresponding button down to scroll through the
digits. Selected temperature value will be automatically saved to the
memory (when adjusting the temperature during program operation, do
not press any buttons within a few seconds after the temperature value
has been selected).
“Time Delay” Function
The function allows programming the appliance to start cooking cycle at
specic time. Cooking time can be delayed from 10 minutes to 24 hours in 5
minute intervals.
1. Press “Меню” button to select cooking program.
2.
Press “Отсрочка старта” button. Corresponding button indicator and “Time
Delay” indicator (on display) start blinking.
3. Use “+” and “–“ buttons to adjust the time value. Use “+” button to increase
and “–“ button to reduce the time value. Press and hold the corresponding
button down to scroll through the digits. When maximum value is reached,
the adjustment starts from the minimum value.
4.
Press “Старт” button. The time remaining before the beginning of the
program starts to count down.
5. To clear the setting press “Отмена/Разогрев” button and start adjusting
from the beginning.
NOTE! It is not recommended to use “Time Delay” function if diary or other
perishable products are being used (eggs, milk, meat, cheese, etc.).
“Time Delay” function is not available in “ЖАРКА” program. When delaying “НА
ПАРУ” program, remember that its cooking time starts to count down only
after water comes to a full boil.
“Keep Warm” Function
The function automatically activates at the end of cooking cycle and keeps the
dish warm at 70-75°С for up to 24 hours. Display shows “Keep Warm” count up.
Press “Отмена/Разогрев” button (button indicator goes off) to disable the
function if necessary. “Keep Warm” function is not available in “ЙОГУРТ” program.
Preliminary Deactivation of “Keep Warm”
Multicookers REDMOND RMC-M12/22/32 allow disabling “Keep Warm” function
after the beginning of cooking cycle. To disable the function press “Старт” but-
ton after the beginning of cooking cycle until “Отмена/Разогрев” button indica-
tor goes off. To enable “Keep Warm” repress “Старт” button, “Отмена/Разогрев”
button indicator lights up.
For added convenience, if cooking temperature of the program is set to 70°С
or above, “Keep Warm” function is automatically disabled. Press “Старт”
button in the beginning of cooking cycle to enable the function if necessary
(“Отмена/Разогрев” button indicator lights up).
“Reheat” Function
To reheat a cold dish:
1. Fill cooking bowl with food and position it inside the unit. Ensure that
the bowl makes full contact with the heating element.
2. Close the lid until it clicks into place. Plug in the multicooker.
3.
Press “Отмена/Разогрев” button. Corresponding indicator lights up on the
display and reheating process begins. The timer starts to count up the
“Reheat” time. The appliance reheats the dish up to 70-75°С and maintains
the temperature up to 24 hours.
4. Press “Отмена/Разогрев” button to disable the function if necessary. Cor-
responding indicator on the display and button indicator go off.
NOTE! Multicooker is capable of maintaining the dish warm for up to 24 hours,
however, it is not recommended to leave the food on “Keep Warm” for more
than 2-3 hours, to prevent foods from drying out.
Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Programs
1. Measure the ingredients according to the recipe and place them inside
the bowl. Ensure that all ingredients (including liquids) are below the
maximum ll mark on the inside of the bowl.
